An
absolutely incredible aspect of Durge’s case was that his “heart bypass without
surgery”
was done virtually on telephone. Durge does not have a cellphone. He
did not have the time to meet me. We would get in touch with each other
on telephone at night. That’s all it took to get rid of his artery blockages!
Proof that nearly any heart condition, except congenital defects which
require surgery, can be tackled easily. This is also the reason why I
wish to teach sixth-standard kids, as I’ve mentioned
elsewhere, how to stay free from heart disease, lifelong. And what a
huge, gigantic challenge it is made out to be! You are bamboozled by
medical abracadabra into agreeing for surgery. I'am toying with the
idea of changing the name of my programme from "heart bypass without surgery"
to heart bypaaa on telephone. Or, maybe, dial a bypass. Home delivery.

“YES!”
answers Durge’s wife Suman emphatically. “I have
been inclined towards religion from childhood. Just calculate the odds
of my husband meeting someone like Vats, who could get him out of the
no-hope situation, with his heart
bypass without
surgery programme."

The
link, incidentally, is Shrikant Pandey, an accountant who works in the
same company as Durge. Pandey meets me for a couple days a year to file
my income tax returns.
