Eight
years ago, my 80-year-old type2 diabetic mother suffered a heart attack
after which she became a patient of congestive heart failure. In order
not to scare the daylights out of patients, this condition, in which
the heart gets dilated and the pumping efficiency is reduced, will
simply be called CIS or chronic irregularity syndrome in the future.
Marlon “Godfather” Brando and Arthur Miller (author
of Death of a Salesman) died of
chronic/congestive heart
failure because doctors consider the condition incurable. My mother is
doing okay without doing half the things done in my heart bypass
without surgery programme. Anyone else can beat the condition outright.
